What about my privacy and my copyright?
It goes without saying that the contents of your magazine (your texts, your layout and your photos) are always your own property. We have explicitly stated this in the general terms and conditions. See paragraphs 6, 7, and 9 of these general conditions.
In paragraph 6 of the general terms and conditions we have also stated that the Customer and the Editors guarantee that their use of photos and texts does not infringe upon the rights of others, and that the content of the magazine may not be illegitimate, offensive, or objectionable.
If the content is potentially punishable by law, Jilster can decide to inform the proper authorities (paragraph 7 of the general terms and conditions).
Moreover, in paragraph 9, Jilster states that your registration and ordering information will only be used for carrying out your order and improving the services and products offered. And that we will explicitly ask for your permission in any other situation.
Can I delete my data?
Yes, by deleting the magazine. In the overview of all your magazines, you will find a delete button next to the relevant magazine.
If you want to delete your entire account, you will need to send an e-mail to the customer service.
Am I allowed to add advertisements to my magazine?
According to the General terms and conditions, it is not prohibited for customers to insert advertisements etc. in their magazine; they are free to add whatever content they like, provided that the (copy)rights of others are not at issue, and the content is not objectionable. The customer is fully responsible for the content.
