Working with Jilster has many advantages:

Sharing the work

You can work on the same magazine, together with others. This way, you can divide the tasks. The chief editor (the person who initiates the magazine) invites others to participate. He keeps watch over the overall picture. In the special newsroom you can see how the work is getting along. Here you can also communicate with each other.

Useful layout

You can design the pages and select a layout, just like a real magazine. In the newsroom you can copy text from Word and paste it into your own page. There you can further edit the text and divide it among multiple columns, for example. You can use your own photos: as an illustration or as a background. You can rotate images, make them transparent, enlarge or shrink them. You can use the color blocks to color the background too. You can make everything to look exactly like you want it!

Free digital version

After you have created a minimum of eight pages in the newsroom, you can view a digital version of your magazine. You can also insert this version into your own website for free! You will find the relevant options in the right-hand column of the newsroom.

Ordering starts at 1 copy

Even more fun: let us print your magazine. Once all the editors have finished their work, the chief editor can order the desired number of copies. You only start paying for it at that point. The price depends on the design, the number of pages, and the number of copies. The more copies you order, the lower the price-per-copy of your magazine. But you can also just order a single copy.
